First Timers to Europe

In honor of our 25th wedding anniversary, which is actually today, my husband Steve and I decided to celebrate with an upcoming trip to Europe. We'll be leaving in a few days and will spend 5 nights in Paris, 5 nights in London. Being kind and generous parents, our two daughters, Adrienne and Stephanie, will be coming as well. Steve has been to London very briefly (a few hours for a layover) many years ago, but it will be the first time to Europe for our girls and me.
One of the few drawbacks to air travel is that our pets can't come with us.  Cabana, our dog, is a good traveling companion, and often comes with us on car trips, but Frances, being a cat, doesn't get that privilege.  Cabana will stay with our friend Jody and her 4 dogs while we're away, and Frances will be well cared for by our next door neighbor.

This blog is my attempt to keep a record of our trip.  Photography is a hobby of mine, and my goal is to capture a lot of great images without annoying my family members overly much.  I have grand plans of getting Steve and the girls to write the posts.  They are all talented writers and much funnier and more entertaining than I am.  We'll see if they'll oblige us.

I appreciate your following along on our journey. If you put your email in the Subscribe box, you should get future posts in your email.  Then, if you get too bored by our ramblings, you can just hit delete, and we'll be none the wiser.
